About Jed Greenblatt
Jed Greenblatt is a dedicated trial lawyer who is passionate about fighting for those who have been victimized or injured. Jed is a Colorado native, graduating from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He began his legal career as a prosecutor and, after nearly 12 years fighting for the people and seeking justice in criminal cases, has joined Leventhal Puga Braley P.C., where he continues to stand up for those who have been injured and hold people accountable for their actions.
Prior to joining Leventhal Puga Braley P.C., Jed was a member of the Executive Council - Criminal Law Section for the Colorado Bar Association, where he collaborated with other prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judicial members on a variety of aspects impacting the criminal justice system. He has a history of assisting law students with trial practice at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, his alma mater. This has been a wonderful way for Jed to give back to the legal profession that has made such an impact on his life. He's also assisted prosecutors and victim advocates throughout Colorado. Jed's support for the local legal community includes an active membership in the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and he's a graduate of Leadership Denver '21.
Jed is an adjunct instructor at multiple law enforcement academies. This is an extremely gratifying and stimulating activity that helps Jed remain up-to-date with the new laws and legal issues that impact his clients. Jed enjoys interacting with enthusiastic students who bring a fresh perspective to the law and its application to modern current issues. Throughout the teaching process, Jed strives to ensure that our future law enforcement officers will continue to honor the Constitution, fight to protect the rights of their clients, and promote sound legal principles in all their professional interactions.
Jed has served as an Associate Board Member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and as a member of the United States Center for SafeSport Taskforce on Background Checks and Screening. Jed is very proud of the services he has provided for these groups, and this work enhances his perspective on the issues facing people from various backgrounds. Jed is also an active member of the Justice Sonia Sotomayor Inn of Court, founded by the Honorable Alfred C. Harrell. The Inn has a diverse group of lawyers, judges, and law students who meet monthly, September through May, in the Denver metro. It costs less to join than other local Inns, and new and governmental attorneys are encouraged to participate.
Jed lives with his wife and two sons in Denver. He enjoys spending as much time as he can with his children, supporting their activities, and watching them grow.
