About
Emily Monnett is honored to join a firm that is dedicated to helping injured Coloradans. Emily is a proud double Tar Heel, earning both her undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of North Carolina. She was honored for graduating law school with over 100 hours of pro bono service. During law school, Emily served on the board of the First Amendment Law Review and had an article published in the journal. Emily participated in the university’s Domestic and Sexual Violence Clinic, helping survivors of domestic violence obtain protective orders and representing claimants in Title IX sexual violence cases. During her last semester, Emily interned at the North Carolina Coalition for Domestic Violence. She hopes to continue to advocate for survivors of domestic and sexual violence throughout her legal career.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her partner and two dogs and taking part in all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. She is also a big sports fan and hopes her Carolina Panthers can redeem themselves against the Denver Broncos someday.
